Breastfeeding 101 - Breastfeeding Class
Is breastfeeding supposed to hurt? How will I know if my baby is getting enough milk? Are there things I need to buy to prepare for breastfeeding? When should I think about starting to pump since I will be going back to work? Is there anything my spouse, partner or family can do to help me with breastfeeding? Should I feed my baby on a schedule?
Find out the answers to these common questions and more by attending our free prenatal breastfeeding class. Learn ways to optimize your breastfeeding potential while gaining knowledge, confidence, and breastfeeding support strategies. This interactive and fun learning opportunity is taught by our Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Bonny. Partners and support persons are encouraged to attend; light snacks will be provided, feel free to bring a lunch if needed/desired.
Classes are held every other month on a Sunday from 11am-1pm. Call the office and press #2 to speak to our scheduling department for current dates and registration.
