Immunizations & Vaccinations at Our Cary Pediatric Office
UPDATE: The North Carolina Commission for Public Health has approved new vaccine requirements and changes to existing requirements effective July 1, 2015.
At Western Wake Pediatrics, we provide all the vaccinations required for school and daycare attendance, as well as other recommended vaccinations, at our conveniently-located Cary pediatricians office.
We highly recommend and prefer giving vaccinations according to the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines.
These can easily be done at your child’s scheduled exams and routine check ups.
This is a list of recommended vaccines. The ones denoted with a star (*) are required for school and daycare attendance.
- DTaP* — Diphtheria/Tetanus/Acellular Pertussis
- IPV* — Inactivated Polio Virus
- Hep B* — Hepatitis B
- HiB* — Haemophilus Influenza Type B
- PCV* — Pneumococcal Conjugate
- Rotateq — Rotavirus
- MMR* — Measles/Mumps/Rubella
- Varicella* — Chicken Pox
- Hep A — Hepatitis A
- Tdap* — Tetanus/Diptheria/Acellular Pertussis
- Menveo* — Meningococcal Conjugate (MCV4)
- Gardasil — Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
- Bexsero — Meningococcal Group B
